The end!
Also, I would suggest more research for those looking to do the same. Vicky and I could have easily skipped over a few places *cough* oklahoma city *cough* and we regret not seeing niagara falls :(

We ended up in Jamestown, NY for the night. We'll probably hit MA tomorrow!

Chillin in Madison Ohio

Thoughts so far? Vicky and I stopped at a mexican food restaurant called The Tamale Place (yelp recommend ofc) and it turned out to be more than ok! We scarfed down our food and made way through a ghetto part of Indianapolis and on our way to Columbus!

St. Louis, MO ... 20 hours to go!
Greetings from Tulsa
There was a shift from flat desert planes to rolling lush green hills. Very cool and nice to see a change of scenery.
Vicky and I ended up in El Rio Verde. Some mexican joint. We will see how it compares to californias mexican grub.

Our Route

Triple A setup the best route (even though Google contradicts it) But maybe it's related to some Triple A deals. Who knows.
The goal is St. Louis tomorrow, but we are playing it by ear. =D
Today's Adventure....

Today sorta sucked. Amarillo and Oklahoma City seemed sorta dry. Only thing that turned out cool was the discount we acquired at The Biltmore Hotel in Oklahoma City, OK. Woohoo open exercise room!
Speeding 5mph over the limit. . .
. . .equals my first warning ticket in Texas!! Followed by a deli sandwich shop reccomendation from the cop :-)
Oklahoma city...
So far this podonk town is unimpressive. Vicky and I are checking out a asian fusion restaurant called the golden phoenix. There will be an update after we stuff our faces.
Oklahoma????
Bit greener, still vast open planes.
Texas gas prices... 3.65 ...
So i guess as we keep heading into the vast emptiness gas prices keep dropping. Makes sense.
We stopped at McAlisters Deli after a recommendation from one of texas' local law enforcement. Thanks officer Wellers!

Pretty dry drive today. Fortunately, we had the Dark Tower entertaining us.
The Man in Black Fled Across the Desert, and Chris and Vicky followed.
Another Haiku
The Story so far

DAMN YELP, YOU SEXY! Courtesy of Yelp Vicky and I ended up in The Satellite Cafe in Albuquerque, New Mexico. http://www.satellitecoffee.com/ This quaint artsy coffee job was Yelp's top pick. Free wi-fi and pricey beverages mmm!
New Mexico...
Shit reminds me of the high desert.
Vicky and i yelped our way into Sammy C's Rock n' Sports pub and grill. I would recommend it for sports enthusiasts.
First hostel experience...
Made new friends! Met a few people from burning man. Pretty good experience in flagstaff. Would come again!

I turn my back for 3 point 2 seconds . . .
. .and the oatmeal stout is gone! Greedy big bro move but how to get even?
Haiku Time!

So we've still got a ways to go, just taking a breather. Unfortunately, it still feels like the desert.
